Currently Senior Product Marketing Manager on the Adobe Type Team at Adobe, I've enjoyed almost a decade working in marketing and outreach in the type industry.
In my time at Adobe, I've worked across teams to surface the Adobe Fonts service in Creative Cloud desktop and mobile products, managed internal and external marketing projects, assisted in the 2018 rebrand from Typekit to Adobe Fonts, and developed and executed multiple creative campaigns and installations. Prior to joining Adobe, I produced TYPO San Francisco, an annual conference for an international group of creative professionals; provided marketing support for the critically-acclaimed FontBook app; and developed a communications strategy for the popular online font retailer, FontShop.com.
I'm lucky enough in my career to have worked with several different customer communities. I launched a mid-size transit system into the realm of social media, got a change-averse area excited about bike racks on buses, built partnerships in biotech & pharma to support professional development, and built out a content network of career coaches.
I'm enthusiastic about the powerful combination of new technologies and old-fashioned word-of-mouth, both professionally and personally, to make the world a better place myself and to inspire others to do the same. My studies at Marquette University in Public Relations, English Literature and Social Sciences empowered me with the ability to approach content and communications with a big picture understanding of how messages can be applied both through digital and in person experiences.
I strive to be involved in my own community as well. I currently serve as a mentor through the Marquette Mentors program, which I've participated in since its inception. I previously served as board president of Walk San Francisco, as well as president of the Northern California Chapter of the Marquette University Alumni Club. I have actively volunteered with the San Francisco Bike Coalition, San Francisco Design Week, my Burning Man camp, and other organizations. A recent transplant to Santa Cruz from San Francisco, I'm looking forward to finding local volunteer opportunities post-COVID.
